Pater Severin Lovage Root Drops are a dietary supplement for oral use. The lovage root drops contain a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of lovage root in a ratio of 1:5.
Lovage is said to have haemostatic, diuretic, antispasmodic, expectorant and diaphoretic properties. The roots contain abundant essential oils with up to 70 per cent alkylphthalides, which is why the herb is often used for flushing therapy in cases of urinary tract infections and for the prevention of kidney stones.
