Father Severin Kidney Vetch Spray is a dietary supplement made according to an old monastery recipe for ingestion. Made from a 100 % aqueous/alcoholic extract of kidney vetch blossoms.
Kidney vetch, also known as woundwort or fir clover, has the botanical name Anthyllis vulneraria. It is an important forage plant, but its use in folk medicine is due to its high content of saponins and tannins. Traditional areas of application were, as the name suggests, wounds, but also the stomach, intestines and lungs. It is also significant that the plant is known by one of its many popular names "pharmacist's clover"
