The ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba L.) belongs to the ginkgo family (Ginkgoaceae). The ingredients include diterpenes with the ginkgolides A, B and C, sequiterpenes with the substance bilobalide, flavonoids, organic acids and ginkgolic acids. In laboratory tests, gingko has positive effects on nerve cells and protects against harmful influences. Ginkgo is therefore used to treat poor concentration, circulatory disorders, dizziness, ringing in the ears (tinnitus) and memory disorders.
