Bucco (Agathosma betulina) is native to the Cape region of South Africa. Its leaves have been used in South African medicine since time immemorial. Bucco leaves are said to have antiseptic and diuretic properties. The leaves can be particularly helpful in cases of inflammatory kidney and urinary tract infections. Bucco leaves can also provide relief from cramp-like stomach complaints.
