Father Severin’s Brazil Nut Ointment uses the natural oils of the Brazil nut to nourish and protect your skin. Experience a soft, smooth feel to your skin.

Brazil nuts – which, botanically speaking, are not actually nuts at all, but capsule fruits – thrive in vast quantities in the tropical climate of the Amazon region in South America. As an ingredient in trail mix, Brazil nuts make a delicious snack that provides a quick energy boost between meals. For the Brazil nut ointment, the valuable alcoholic extract of the Brazil nut is used and incorporated into a base consisting of lanolin, almond oil and jojoba oil. This base is rich in vitamin E and selenium. Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, and selenium help to protect cells from oxidative stress. Selenium repairs damaged skin and, thanks to its astringent properties, ensures a firm and even complexion. Brazil nut ointment therefore has the potential to act as an anti-ageing product, moisturises the skin and leaves it supple and soft.
