Father Severin Balsam Cucumber Spray is a dietary supplement made according to an old monastery recipe for ingestion. Made from a 100 % aqueous/alcoholic extract of balsam cucumber.

Balsam cucumber (Momordica charantia L.), also known as bitter melon or bitter cucumber, is a member of the cucurbit family (Cucurbitaceae). Its health-promoting properties have been known for centuries. The fruit is said to have anti-diabetic properties, which is why the balsamic cucumber is used to support the treatment of type II diabetes. It is also used to treat constipation, stomach and liver problems and viral infections.
