Pater Severin Artichoke Milk Thistle Spray is a dietary supplement made according to an old monastery recipe for ingestion. It is made from a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of artichoke leaves and milk thistle.
The flavour of the artichoke (Cynara cardunculus, syn. Cynara scolymus) is slightly bitter to slightly bitter. It alleviates digestive complaints, can support fat digestion and contributes to the protection and regeneration of the liver. The fruits of milk thistle (Silybum marianum) contain the substance silymarin as well as flavonoids, essential oil and resins. Even in ancient times, its healing effect on indigestion and stomach problems as well as its positive effect on liver complaints were recognised.
