Almonds are incredibly versatile – whether used on their own, as milk, or as a base for delicious marzipan in the food industry. In the cosmetics sector, too, almond oil is hugely popular for the production of creams, ointments and baby care products. Almond Shell Ointment combines an alcoholic extract of almond shells with cold-pressed, virgin almond oil to make the most of the rich ingredients found in these nutrient-packed nuts. This ointment is ideal for blemished skin, as the almond oil effectively breaks down excess sebum and impurities in the skin. As the oleic acid from almond kernels can penetrate deep into the skin’s layers, it improves elasticity and leaves dry skin soft and supple. Almond oil is non-comedogenic, meaning it does not block the pores. Almond Shell Ointment is particularly gentle and is therefore also suitable for use on very sensitive skin.
