Active ingredients

• Licochalcone A (liquorice root extract): Licochalcone A is extracted from the root of the Chinese liquorice root (Glycyrrhiza inflata). It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that protect the plant from the effects of intense sunlight. In skin care products, it has a soothing effect on the skin and neutralises free radicals produced by the sun's rays. This protects the skin - also with regard to premature skin ageing.
• Glycyrrhetinic acid: Glycyrrhetinic acid is extracted from the roots of the Chinese liquorice plant - Glycyrrhiza Glabra - and is known for its antioxidant and skin-soothing properties. It helps to protect the skin cells in the deeper layers of the epidermis from harmful UV-induced free radicals and supports the skin's own DNA repair mechanism.
• Hyaluronic acid: Hyaluronic acid is formed by skin cells and is part of the skin's connective tissue. One of its most important functions is to store moisture and support the skin's metabolism. It can bind 1,000 to 10,000 times its own weight in water (i.e. one gram binds between one and ten litres). With increasing age, the skin's natural ability to produce hyaluronic acid decreases and begins to bind and deepen. This becomes visible as wrinkles, among other things.

• Shake Hydro Protect Ultralight Face Sun Fluid Tinted SPF 50+ well before use.
• Apply generously in the morning or before going out in the sun, after or instead of your day cream. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Allow to absorb completely.
• Reapply regularly, especially after bathing, sweating or drying off, to maintain the specified sun protection.
• Advice: Sun protection is not just for sunbathing, it is a year-round issue. Even if you don't get sunburnt yet, UVA/UVB rays can already damage the skin. Avoid direct contact with textiles and hard surfaces to prevent discolouration. Avoid excessive sun exposure and intense midday sun, it poses a serious health risk. Smaller amounts reduce the protective performance considerably. Even sun protection products with a high SPF do not offer 100% protection. Do not expose babies and small children to direct sunlight. Use protective clothing and sunscreen products with a high sun protection factor (SPF > 25) for babies and small children.
