Active ingredients

• Lactate: Like urea, lactate (the salt of lactic acid) is also produced naturally by the skin and is part of the natural moisturising factor (NMF) that regulates the skin's moisture content. Lactate absorbs and retains moisture in the stratum corneum, the upper layer of the skin, and therefore plays an important role in maintaining the physiological properties of the skin. Low levels of lactate in the stratum corneum are known to be associated with dry skin.
• Microparticles: The microparticles used are fine beads of lactic acid and cellulose that gently remove dead skin cells, open the pores and refine the skin at the same time. Eucerin has taken a significant step towards more environmentally friendly products and does not use microbeads made of polyethylene (PE). The cellulose particles used are a mixture of microcrystalline cellulose and silicon dioxide particles. These particles are gentle and skin friendly and deliver the same results as less environmentally friendly microplastic alternatives.

How to use

• Use Eucerin DermoPure Clinical Cleansing Scrub once a week or more often as needed instead of Eucerin DermoPure Clinical Cleansing Gel. Apply an amount the size of a two-euro piece to a damp face and massage in gently. Then rinse the face well.
  
• Advice: Avoid contact with eyes.
