Eucerin Aquaphor Protect & Repair Ointment protects, soothes and nourishes extremely dry, cracked or irritated skin and promotes faster skin regeneration.

The special water-vapour-permeable (semi-occlusive) formula forms a protective film on the skin whilst preventing any potential build-up of moisture on the skin. This promotes the development of a physiological skin regeneration environment – a kind of protective shield for the skin – and improves the skin’s barrier function. This prevents germs and harmful substances from penetrating the uppermost layers of the skin. In addition, Eucerin® Aquaphor Protect & Repair Ointment, containing panthenol and bisabolol, soothes irritated skin.

• This actively accelerates skin regeneration. The skin’s barrier function is restored.
• As well as its regenerative properties, this ointment nourishes and soothes the skin; its efficacy and skin tolerance have been proven in scientific studies on extremely dry, cracked skin and skin irritated by dermatological treatments.
• It is recommended as a skincare product for xerosis and for stressed, dry skin caused, for example, by frequent hand washing at work. Eucerin Aquaphor is gentle on sensitive baby skin, for example in cold weather and in the nappy area. As it contains a carefully selected list of just 7 ingredients, it has a very low potential for irritation and is very well tolerated.

Eucerin Aquaphor Protect & Repair Ointment is suitable for sensitive skin, is odourless and does not contribute to acne or blemishes. It is free from fragrances and alcohol, which could cause irritation or contact dermatitis.

Indications

Nourishes and protects extremely dry and cracked areas of skin, including

• elbows, ankles, feet

For skin care and protection of irritated and reddened skin, including

• following dermatological treatments
• following radiotherapy
• in cold, windy and inclement weather
• in the nappy area
• during strenuous sporting activities (running, cycling, swimming, horse riding)

For skin protection and intensive hand care

• after frequent hand washing and/or frequent contact with skin-irritating substances (jobs involving frequent hand washing, housework, gardening)

Directions for use

• Apply to the affected areas several times a day as required.
• Recommended duration of use: at least 3 days Do not apply to open, bleeding or weeping wounds. The rich, creamy texture goes a long way and should therefore be applied thinly and sparingly.
