EncorMed 5-HTP Griffonia capsules contain 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), a natural amino acid derived from the seeds of the African Griffonia simplicifolia plant. 5-HTP is a direct precursor of the important neurotransmitter serotonin.

Griffonia – the seed of the African black bean – is rich in L-5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), which is converted by the body into serotonin in the brain. Serotonin, also known as the ‘happiness hormone’, plays a role in regulating well-being and mood. Furthermore, serotonin is also used to produce the sleep hormone melatonin, which has a relaxing effect and promotes sleep.

Magnesium activates certain enzymes in the inner cell membrane of the mitochondria, which are essential for energy production and cell regeneration.
