EncorMed 5-HTP Griffonia capsules contain 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), a natural amino acid from the seeds of the African Griffonia simplicifolia plant. 5-HTP is a direct precursor of the important neurotransmitter serotonin.

Griffonia - the seed of the African black bean - contains plenty of L-5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), which is converted to serotonin by the body in the brain. Serotonin, also known as the "happiness hormone", is involved in the regulation of well-being and mood. In addition, the sleep hormone melatonin, which has a relaxing and sleep-promoting effect, is also produced from serotonin.

Magnesium activates certain enzymes in the inner cell wall of the mitochondria, which are essential for energy production and cell regeneration.
