Embamed® tea tree oil is obtained by steam distillation from the branches of the tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia). It is used to flavour food and for room fragrancing. The tea tree should not be confused with the tea bush. Tea tree oil is used to quickly soothe insect bites and itching. It also helps in the treatment of skin impurities and spots.
