Dr Kottas Darjeeling is a black tea of the Darjeeling tea variety from North India.
The popular Darjeeling tea variety goes back to the Englishman Dr Arthur Campbell, a botanist who was involved in tea planting in his private tea gardens in the Darjeeling district (North India). The harvest is mainly carried out by women, who pick only "two leaves and a bud" from each shoot.
