Longvida® offers 65 times higher bioavailability
- Curcumin, a component of turmeric, offers numerous benefits, but unfortunately curcumin in its original form has a very low bioavailability. This means that only a very small proportion of the amount consumed is absorbed in the intestine and actually reaches the target tissue
- Neuracur contains the special Longvida® curcumin. Longvida® offers an optimised form of curcumin in which the curcumin is embedded in a fat-soluble matrix. The optimised lipophilic matrix acts as all-round protection for the curcumin, allowing it to enter the bloodstream effectively
- The SLCP™ technology (Solid Lipid Curcumin Particle) is responsible for the special properties of Longvida®. It ensures the integrity of the curcumin in the stomach, a high absorption rate in the blood and optimum transport to the target tissue. Longvida® is also safe

Without black pepper extract (piperine)
Curcumin is often combined with piperine (black pepper extract) in food supplements to improve bioavailability. However, piperine can influence drug metabolism and lead to interactions. The curcumin contained in Neuracur offers high bioavailability without the addition of piperine.
