GranaProstan ferment: live fermentation for high bioavailability

Studies show: Even good pomegranate juices are not utilised equally well by everyone, as the composition of the intestinal flora plays an important role in this1. Selected microorganisms, the use of which has a long tradition, can improve bioactivity with their ferments (enzymes) during live fermentation - a kind of natural pre-digestion. In the process, they break down the fruit's own sugars. This process was developed by Dr L. M. Jacob in 2004 and registered as an EU patent.

Gentle freeze-drying of pomegranate juice

After fermentation, the pomegranate juice is frozen and the water is then removed from it in a vacuum at a maximum temperature of 37 °C. This freeze-drying process produces a powder with a large surface area and good solubility. This is a great help for the absorption process, as only substances that are present in dissolved form in the digestive juices can be absorbed. Freeze-drying optimally preserves the freshness quality and the natural spectrum of the plant substances.
