Deumavan vaginal ointments relieve and prevent vaginal dryness Deumavan vaginal ointments are a medical product and are used to relieve vaginal dryness. They moisturise, support the natural vaginal mucosa and can reduce discomfort such as itching or burning. The ovule is inserted into the vagina, where it melts and moisturises the mucous membranes. Deumavan vaginal ovules are suitable for short-term and long-term use - and can also be used alongside medication after consultation with a doctor.

Vaginal dryness can occur in different phases of a woman's life - and can have hormonal and non-hormonal causes, e.g:

• During the menopause: oestrogen levels fall naturally

How to use

• 1 ovule per day for 10 days (intensive treatment).
• 1 ovule every 3 days (maintenance treatment) or as advised by a doctor.
• NOTE: STORAGE AT MAX. 25 DEGREES CELSIUS (No storage in the refrigerator necessary) Wash your hands thoroughly before use Remove one ovule from the packaging Carefully insert the ovule deep into the vagina, preferably lying down or with your legs slightly bent. Generally use once a day, preferably in the evening before going to bed, so that the ovule can work optimally. Use the ovules according to the instructions in the package leaflet or as recommended by your doctor. There may be a slight discharge during use - a panty liner may be helpful. Medical advice should be sought if discomfort or intolerance persists.
• Precautions and warnings: In the event of unexplained vaginal complaints such as unusual discharge, itching or pain, seek medical advice before use. Only use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding after consulting a doctor. Avoid contact with the eyes and wash your hands after use.
