Hot/Cold - for cold and heat therapy of injuries and pain relief

Hot/Cold is a reusable gel compress and is used in:

• Cold therapy: The cold application is locally pain-relieving and has a decongestant effect. It can be used for: acute inflammation of joints and muscles, blunt injuries, haematomas, insect bites and toothache.
• Heat therapy: The warm application stimulates circulation locally and relieves tension. It can be used for Sore muscles, back pain and menstrual cramps.

Application

• As a cold compress: Cool the compress at up to -18 °C for two hours in the freezer compartment or freezer. Never place the compress directly on the skin.
• As a heat compress: Place the compress in water at a maximum temperature of 80 °C for approx. 4 minutes. Alternatively, heat in the microwave for 2 minutes at 600 watts. Always place a cloth between the compress and the skin. Caution: If the time or wattage is exceeded, there is a risk of the compress bursting.
• Notes: Do not use for longer than 20 minutes, take a 30-minute break between applications. Never use a damaged compress again. Keep out of the reach of children. HOT/COLD may only be used externally.
• Warnings: A doctor must always be consulted in the case of heart, circulatory and diabetes disorders. Do not use on children under 3 years of age, helpless or sick persons or persons sensitive to heat or cold.
