The DermaPlast® ACTIVE Hot/Cold Gel Compress is your reliable companion for pain, tension and swelling. This reusable compress provides fast and effective relief through heat or cold.

Hot/Cold – for cold and heat therapy for injuries and for pain relief

Hot/Cold is a reusable gel compress and is used for:

• Cold therapy: Applying cold provides local pain relief and reduces swelling. It can be used for: acute inflammation of joints and muscles, blunt injuries, bruises, insect bites and toothache.
• Heat therapy: Heat application promotes local blood circulation and helps to relieve tension. It can be used for: sore muscles, back pain and period pain.

Directions for use

• As a cold compress: Cool the compress to a temperature of up to –18 °C for two hours in the freezer compartment or deep-freezer. Never place the compress directly on the skin.
• As a heat compress: Place the compress in water heated to a maximum of 80 °C for approx. 4 minutes. Alternatively, heat it in the microwave for 2 minutes at 600 watts. Always place a cloth between the compress and the skin. Caution: If the recommended time or wattage is exceeded, there is a risk that the compress may burst.
• Notes: Do not use for longer than 20 minutes; allow a 30-minute break between uses. Never use a damaged compress. Keep out of reach of children. HOT/COLD is for external use only. 
• Warnings: Always consult a doctor if you have heart, circulatory or diabetes-related conditions. Do not use on children under 3 years of age, or on people who are helpless, unwell or sensitive to heat or cold.
