Cutimed PROTECT is a liquid skin protection product. It is sprayed on as a liquid and forms a durable, waterproof protective film.
This prevents skin irritation caused by adhesive products, abrasive elements, bodily excretions and bodily fluids. For use on intact or irritated skin.
Properties
- Waterproof barrier: Cutimed PROTECT forms a waterproof barrier and is therefore ideal for protection against bodily excretions and fluids, such as wound fluid.
- Durable: The moisture barrier lasts up to 96 hours.
- Breathable: The film formed is permeable to air and allows the skin to breathe.
- Adapts to the skin's movements: The film formed is flexible and does not tear, maintaining an effective moisture barrier.
- Easy to remove: The protective film can be easily removed with most medical adhesive removers.

How to use
Cutimed® PROTECT Spray has a prophylactic effect on intact or already irritated areas of skin and protects them from maceration by body fluids for up to 96 hours. Thanks to its alcohol- and fragrance-free formulation, it is particularly gentle on the skin. The product is therefore also suitable for use on children.
Areas of application:
- Primary protection against skin irritation caused by bodily fluids
- Protective shield against adhesives and irritants
- Protection of the skin surrounding the wound and the wound edge against maceration
Duration of application: depending on the indication (e.g. cleansing).
Ingredients
Cutimed® PROTECT Spray contains a polymer solution of disiloxane and acrylate copolymer.
