Cutimed PROTECT is a liquid skin protectant. It is sprayed on as a liquid and forms a long-lasting, waterproof protective film.
This prevents skin irritation caused by adhesive products, abrasive materials, bodily secretions and bodily fluids. For use on intact or irritated skin.
Features
- Waterproof barrier: Cutimed PROTECT forms a waterproof barrier and is therefore ideal for protection against bodily secretions and fluids, such as wound exudate.
- Durable: The moisture barrier lasts for up to 96 hours.
- Breathable: The film formed is air-permeable and allows the skin to breathe.
- Adapts to skin movements: The film formed is flexible and does not tear, ensuring that an effective moisture barrier is maintained.
- Easy to remove: The protective film can be easily removed using most medical adhesive removers.

Directions for use
Cutimed® PROTECT Spray acts as a preventative measure on intact or already irritated areas of skin and protects them for up to 96 hours against maceration caused by body fluids. Thanks to its alcohol- and fragrance-free formulation, it is particularly gentle on the skin. The product is therefore also suitable for use on children.
Indications:
- Primary protection against skin irritation caused by bodily fluids
- A protective barrier against adhesives and irritants
- Protection of the skin surrounding the wound and the wound margins against maceration
Duration of use: depending on the indication (e.g. cleansing).
Ingredients
Cutimed® PROTECT Spray contains a polymer solution of disiloxane and acrylate copolymer.
