- The wound pad absorbs exudate and does not stick to the wound. The semi-permeable polyurethane film is coated with an adhesive. The waterproof film is permeable to water vapour and gases.
- Cosmopor transparent can be used in the post-operative treatment of slightly exuding wounds, as protection against the penetration of bacteria and as a dressing for minor injuries

Application
- Clean the application area thoroughly and ensure that the skin is dry and free of creams and ointments.
- Open the peel pack and remove the dressing. Cosmopor transparent is protected by four films, which are numbered 1 to 4 in the order of application.
- Slightly loosen the protective films 1 and 2. Then position the adhesive side of Cosmopor transparent with the wound pad on the wound and ensure that the wound pad completely overlaps the wound. Remove the protective films 1 and 2 completely and press the film down lightly. In this way, mould the film to the contours of the body. Remove the protective film 3, then remove the protective film 4 and press the dressing lightly onto the skin.
- Cosmopor transparent can be removed almost painlessly by overstretching the material. To do this, loosen one corner and carefully pull off the dressing by overstretching it.
