Cetirizine 10 mg film-coated tablets from Actavis are an anti-allergic medicine containing the active substance cetirizine dihydrochloride. For the relief of nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as for the relief of hives.

Indications

Cetirizine Actavis is indicated for adults and children from the age of 6 years:

for the relief of nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.
for the relief of hives (urticaria).

If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Dosage form

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: The recommended dose is: 10 mg once daily as 1 tablet. Other dosage forms of this medicine may be more suitable for adolescents. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Use in children aged 6 to 12 years: The recommended dose is: 5 mg twice a day as half a tablet twice a day. Other dosage forms of this medicine may be more suitable for children. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Ingredients

The active substance is cetirizine dihydrochloride.
Each film-coated tablet contains 10 mg cetirizine dihydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, crospovidone, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate. Film coating: hypromellose, macrogol stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, propylene glycol, titanium dioxide (E171).
