The cholesterol test from cerascreen is a test kit for determining cholesterol, HDL and LDL levels as well as the LDL/HDL quotient. The test is a self-test that can be carried out at home. The test kit contains everything you need to take a sample. Thanks to the use of the latest laboratory analysis methods, blood analyses are possible with just a few drops of blood from the finger.
Using the blood collection kit, the customer takes a small blood sample from the finger and sends it to our specialised diagnostic laboratory free of charge in the enclosed return envelope. Please note that the sample can only be taken after 12 hours of abstinence from food and alcohol. The sample must therefore be taken on an empty stomach.
The concentration of the different cholesterol levels and triglycerides in the capillary blood is determined. The personal results report can be viewed a few working days later in the online customer area.
