CentroVision® 4 PLUS contains the valuable carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin, which are found in high concentrations in the eye. Lutein and zeaxanthin cannot be produced by the body and must therefore be obtained from the diet . Furthermore, CentroVision® 4 PLUS contains the enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD), as well as vitamins B2, B6, C and E, and the mineral selenium. Selenium and vitamins B2, C and E help protect cells from oxidative stress. This stress is triggered, amongst other things , by free radicals , which can also be produced in the eyes during normal metabolic activity . Vitamin B2 also helps to maintain normal vision and healthy mucous membranes. In addition , selenium helps tomaintain the normal function of the immune system.

Without even realising it, we usually take it for granted that our eyes function well every day. Yet our eyes have to withstand many external influences, whether these include blue light (e.g. from screen work and computer games), UV light or air pollution , or whether you experience problems with night vision or increased sensitivity to light. Several specific substances are responsible for the normal process of vision, such as vitamin B2, which helps maintain normal vision. In the rear and central part of the retina lies the macula, a small yellow spot which has the highest density of photoreceptor cells and whose colour is caused by lutein and zeaxanthin.

What is SOD?

SOD (superoxide dismutase) is a specific enzyme found in virtually all cells of the human body, including our eye tissues. Together with other enzymes, vitamins and trace elements , SOD forms part of the antioxidant system.

Extraction of SOD from the cantaloupe melon (Cucumis melo)

Research shows that this particular variety of cantaloupe melon contains large quantities of the enzyme SOD. Furthermore, it has a longer shelf life than related varieties, and this is achieved entirely without genetic engineering. The patented branded raw material is extracted from the fruit pulp in accordance with strict quality standards and processedinto CentroVision® 4 PLUS .

Take 1 tablet daily, preferably with a meal, without chewing , with plenty of liquid.

Ingredients: bulking agent microcrystalline cellulose, vitamin C, extract of Tagetes erecta containing lutein and zeaxanthin , D-α-tocopheryl acid succinate, bulking agent : cross-linked carboxymethylcellulose, glazing agents: hydroxypropylcellulose and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, rice bran, melon fruit powder (from Cucumis melo), riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, sodium selenate, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, stabilisers: calcium sulphate and magnesium carbonate, colouring agents: riboflavin and iron oxides.
