- Lysine is an important amino acid that cannot be produced by the body itself. Herpes viruses need the amino acid arginine to grow. Lysine can displace arginine, without arginine the viruses cannot grow and multiply. It is important that there is more lysine than arginine in the body. Therefore, the simultaneous intake of LY ZINK and products containing arginine should be avoided.
- Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system and thus helps the body to defend itself against viruses.

How to use
- At the first signs on the first day, take 3 capsules unchewed with a little liquid, then 4 x 1 capsule every 2 hours. (The daily amount on the first day is 7 capsules, corresponding to 2.8g L-lysine HCl).
- On the second and third day, take 4 x 1 capsule daily at intervals of a few hours.
- After 3 days the symptoms should have noticeably decreased.
- Note: LyZink® is not a complete food, but a supplementary balanced diet that must be used for its intended purpose as part of a diet plan and under medical supervision. Due to the special mineral requirements of the patients concerned, the zinc content is increased. LyZink® should be consumed according to the recommended intake and in accordance with medical advice. The recommended daily intake should not be exceeded. LyZink® should not be taken in cases of severe kidney damage, acute kidney failure, active autoimmune diseases, during pregnancy and before operations. LyZink® should not be taken together with calcium supplements.

- Composition per 1 capsule: energy 5.7kJ / 1.3kcal, fat 0.001 g - of which saturated fatty acids 0.001 g, carbohydrates 0.01 g - of which sugar 0 0 0 protein 0.3 g, salt 0, zinc 2.6 mg, mg L-lysine HCl 0.4 g.
