Calcium-Sandoz® Sun effervescent tablets are a dietary supplement with calcium, vitamin C, vitamin E and beta-carotene* to help prepare the skin for the sun, with a fruity orange flavour.

The first rays of sunshine are in sight. Let's get outside! But be careful, if you go outside without thinking, you are putting your skin under a lot of strain: when exposed to the sun, for example when sunbathing, doing sport or working outdoors, etc., so-called radicals are produced in the skin, which can damage the skin cells as they lead to oxidative stress.

Vitamin C and E can contribute to cell protection here. Vitamin A* contributes to the maintenance of normal skin. Calcium has a function in cell division and specialisation , so Calcium-Sandoz Sun makes a significant contribution to the oxidative protection of the skin, which is particularly recommended in summer when the sun's rays are strong.

*Calcium-Sandoz Sun uses beta-carotene as a source of vitamin A. This so-called provitamin is first converted into the active form vitamin A in the body.

How to use

Drink one effervescent tablet dissolved in a glass of water (approx. 200 ml) once a day.
Advice: As beta-carotene and vitamin E are fat-soluble vitamins, deposits may form on the rim of the glass. To avoid permanent discolouration, it is recommended to clean the glass immediately after drinking Calcium-Sandoz Sun.

Ingredients: Acidity regulator: citric acid; calcium carbonate; sweetener: sorbitol; dextrose; acidity regulator: sodium hydrogen carbonate; L-ascorbic acid; flavouring; stabiliser: polyvinylpyrrolidone; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; vitamin E preparation [DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate; modified starch (maize); maltodextrin (maize); anti-caking agent: Silicon dioxide]; sweeteners: aspartame, acesulfame-K; beta-carotene preparation [beta-carotene; antioxidants: alpha-tocopherol, ascorbyl palmitate,sodium ascorbate; bulking agent: isomalt; gelatine; maize starch]; anti-foaming agent: sugar esters of fatty acids.
