Burgerstein iron plus capsules, 150 ST

Burgerstein Iron Plus contains organic iron and copper, supplemented with vitamins A, B1, B6 and B12, as well as pantothenic acid and folic acid. Burgerstein Iron Plus is well tolerated and is best taken regularly over the long term. The vitamin C it contains increases iron absorption, whilst copper contributes to normal iron transport in the body.

Who is Burgerstein Iron Plus particularly suitable for?

• Women during their period: Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin.
• Pregnant women and women planning to conceive: Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin and supports normal oxygen transport in the body. Iron requirements are increased during pregnancy. Folate/folic acid contributes to normal blood formation and supports the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. Supplementing with folate increases folate levels in pregnant women. Low folate levels in pregnant women are a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. This beneficial effect is achieved with a daily supplement of 400 µg taken over a period of at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
• Athletes: Iron contributes to the normal functioning of energy metabolism and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. It also supports normal oxygen transport in the body.

Special notes: contains a moderate dose of easily absorbed organic iron and is therefore well tolerated
