Bomix® plus cleaning instrument disinfectant, 2 L

As an aldehyde-free disinfectant concentrate, Bomix® plus offers excellent cleaning performance, even on instruments and endoscopes heavily soiled with protein. Gentle on materials, cost-effective, broad spectrum of activity.

Areas of application 

Bomix® plus a) is a QAV-based cleaning and disinfecting concentrate for the manual reprocessing of medical devices, including flexible endoscopes.

Not suitable for terminal disinfection of invasive medical devices.

Material compatibility

High material compatibility with endoscopes and various materials, such as glass, ceramics, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, aluminium, hard rubber and hard plastic, rubber (including latex and silicone) and plastics (including polyacrylate and polycarbonate)

Efficacy

Fully demineralised water is recommended for high-quality instruments. Bactericidal, yeasticidal, limited virucidal activity (including HBV, HIV, HCV), effective against polyomaviruses.

Application

• Immersion method: Dismantle or open the instruments into individual parts as far as possible. See the ‘Efficacy’ table for dosage recommendations and exposure times. All surfaces and cavities must be completely saturated with the disinfectant solution.
• Ultrasonic bath: Bomix® plus can be used in stainless steel ultrasonic baths. The ultrasonic treatment time specified by the instrument manufacturers must be observed. The solution must not be heated. For dosage recommendations and exposure times, see the Efficacy Table
• Pre-cleaning of flexible endoscopes: Suitable for the pre-cleaning of flexible endoscopes due to its excellent material compatibility.

After disinfection, thoroughly rinse or wash the instruments with water and dry them. The water should be of at least drinking water quality. Fully demineralised water is recommended for high-quality instruments.

Ingredients

Composition: 100 g of concentrate contains: N,N-didecyl-N-methyl-poly(oxyethyl) ammonium propionate 17.5 g.
