Fields of application
Bomix® plus a) is a QAV-based cleaning disinfectant concentrate for manual reprocessing of medical devices, including flexible endoscopes.
Not suitable for the final disinfection of invasive medical devices.
Material compatibility
High material compatibility with endoscopes and various materials, such as glass, ceramic, stainless steel, non-ferrous metal, aluminium, hard rubber and hard plastic, rubber (incl. latex and silicone) and plastics (incl. polyacrylate and polycarbonate).
Effectiveness
Fully demineralised water is recommended for high-quality instruments. Bactericidal, levurocidal, limited virucidal (incl. HBV, HIV, HCV), effective against polyomaviruses.

Application method
- Immersion bath method: Disassemble or open the instruments as far as possible. For dosage recommendations and exposure times, see efficacy table. All surfaces and cavities must be completely wetted with disinfectant solution.
- Ultrasonic bath: Bomix® plus can be used in ultrasonic baths made of stainless steel. The sonication time as specified by the instrument manufacturer must be observed. The solution must not be heated. For dosage recommendations and exposure times, see table Effectiveness
- Pre-cleaning of flexible endoscopes: Suitable for pre-cleaning flexible endoscopes due to its excellent material compatibility.
After disinfection, thoroughly rinse or rinse and dry the instruments. The water should be at least drinking water quality. Fully demineralised water is recommended for high-quality instruments.
Ingredients
Composition: 100 g concentrate contains N,N-Didecyl-N-methyl-poly(oxyethyl) ammonium propionate 17.5 g.
