Bios Vitamin C + E capsules are a food supplement containing vitamins C and E.

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin, also known as ascorbic acid. Humans cannot produce vitamin C themselves; the body must regularly take it in with food. Vitamin C is naturally found mainly in fruit and vegetables. It is involved in many metabolic reactions, including the formation of connective tissue, bones and gums. It is considered an antioxidant and protects cells from oxidative stress.

Vitamin E is one of the fat-soluble vitamins. The term vitamin E covers a group of substances known as tocopherols. These perform similar functions in the organism, but differ from each other in their chemical structure and biological activity. Just like vitamin C, vitamin E also has antioxidant properties.

Adults: Take 1 x 1 capsule daily with liquid with food.

• Ingredients: Filler: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess!); ascorbic acid, D-alpha-tocopherol acetate; capsule shell: cellulose.
• Composition per daily dose (1 capsule) %NRV*: 180 mg vitamin C (225 % NRV*) and 30 mg vitamin E (250 % NRV*) *NRV = per cent of the recommended daily intake.
