Bios Sun Protection Capsules are a dietary supplement to support sun tanning with carotenoids and skin-caring micronutrients.

Good weather and, above all, sunlight have a positive effect on our state of mind. A light tan makes us look healthier and helps us to feel "fitter" and more comfortable. However, high exposure to light promotes oxidative stress and the formation of free radicals. This can lead to faster ageing and degeneration of the skin. Our capsules are a useful dietary supplement to prevent UV light-induced skin damage and for an intensive and long-lasting tan. The unique combination of beta-carotene, pantothenic acid, vitamin E, selenium and biotin protects the body from oxidative damage caused by exposure to light and has a positive effect on skin tissue.

Directions

Adults: 1 capsule daily with food, starting 4 weeks before sun exposure and continuing until the end of sun exposure.

• Ingredients: Carrot powder (anti-caking agents: sodium, potassium and calcium salts of fatty acids); CarotexTM (modified starch, maltodextrin, beta-carotene, polysorbate 80, DL-alpha-tocopherol, sodium ascorbate), sodium selenite (sodium selenite, blueberry extract), alpha-tocopherol acetate, calcium pantothenate, biotin (biotin, mannitol), capsule shell: Cellulose; colours in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide, quinoline yellow, yellow-orange S (May impair activity and attention in children!)
• Composition per daily dose (1 capsule) %NRV*: 312 mg carrot powder, 6 mg beta-carotene, 6 mg pantothenic acid (100 % NRV*), 10 mg vitamin E (83 % NRV*), 100 μg selenium (181 % NRV*) and 150 μg biotin (300 % NRV*) *NRV = per cent of the recommended daily intake.
