Bios P5P Activated Vitamin B6 25 mg capsules are a food supplement containing pyridoxal-5-phosphate. Activated vitamin B6 in an optimal dosage.

Vitamin B6 belongs to the group of water-soluble vitamins. The body cannot produce this water-soluble vitamin itself, which is why it must be obtained through the diet. Vitamin B6 is found in both plant-based and animal-based foods. However, due to its sensitivity to light and heat, various cooking methods or incorrect storage of our food can lead to a loss of this vitamin. As a component of many enzyme systems, vitamin B6 plays a very important role in metabolism, particularly that of protein. Furthermore, vitamin B6 plays a key role in the immune system, as it regulates the body’s defences. 

The capsules contain pyridoxal-5-phosphate, the already activated form of vitamin B6. This does not need to be converted by the body, which is why vitamin B6 is introduced directly into the metabolism

Adults: Take 1 capsule once daily with a meal and some liquid.

Ingredients

• Ingredients: Bulking agent: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess !); pyridoxal-5-phosphate; anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids, capsule shell: gelatine; colouring agent in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide.
• Composition per daily dose (1 capsule) %NRV*: 25 mg pyridoxal-5-phosphate equivalent to 17 mg vitamin B6 (1214 % NRV*). *NRV = Percentage of the recommended daily intake.
