Bios P5P Activated Vitamin B6 25 mg Capsules are a food supplement with pyridoxal-5-phosphate. Activated vitamin B6 in an optimal dosage.

Vitamin B6 belongs to the group of water-soluble vitamins. The body cannot produce the water-soluble vitamin itself, which is why it must be supplied through food. Vitamin B6 is found in both plant and animal foods. However, due to its sensitivity to light and heat, this vitamin can be lost through various preparation processes or incorrect storage of our food. As a component of many enzyme systems, vitamin B6 plays a very important role in the metabolism, especially of protein. Vitamin B6 also has a relevant function in the immune system, as it regulates the immune defence.

The capsules contain pyridoxal-5-phosphate, the already activated form of vitamin B6. This no longer needs to be converted by the body, which is why vitamin B6 is channelled directly into the metabolism

• Composition per daily dose (1 capsule) %NRV*: 25 mg pyridoxal-5-phosphate corresponding to 17 mg vitamin B6 (1214 % NRV*) *NRV = per cent of the recommended daily intake.
