Bios Milk Thistle 500 mg capsules are a food supplement containing milk thistle extract (Silybum marianum). The extract is derived from the plant’s seeds and is standardised to 80% silymarin.

The droplets fell onto the leaves of a thistle”, which has since given the plant its name – the milk thistle (Silybum marianum). This traditional plant has long been used as a herbal remedy for snake bites and to strengthen the liver and gallbladder. The most important active ingredient is silymarin.
