Bios Lutein 6 mg Plus Blueberry Powder Capsules are a food supplement containing the carotenoid lutein and blueberry powder.

The sensible combination of lutein and blueberry powder. Lutein belongs to the carotenoid group and is found in the yellow spot of the retina. It plays an important role for our eyes, as the yellow carotenoid protects the eye from damage caused by (sun)light and ensures sharp vision in the macula. Lutein absorbs blue light before it reaches the visual cells, thereby reducing the formation of free radicals that damage the retina. The typical colouring agents in bilberries (anthocyanins) have protective properties, helping with twilight vision and reducing eye fatigue in low light.

The eye's adaptation time after glare is shortened and full vision is restored more quickly. The bilberries come from wild collection and are gently dried and pulverised. The ingredients are naturally somewhat lower than in bilberry extract, but the raw material comes directly from nature.

• Ingredients: Bilberry powder; lutein (modified food starch, maize starch, lutein, glucose syrup, antioxidant: sodium ascorbate, DL-alpha-tocopherol), capsule shell: gelatine; colouring in the capsule shell: iron oxide.
• Composition per daily dose (1 capsule): 6 mg free lutein, 350 mg blueberry powder and 360 μg zeaxanthin.
