Bios Lip Protection Capsules are a dietary supplement with L-lysine, natural B vitamins from quinoa seedlings and zinc.

Cold sores are caused by a viral infection with the so-called herpes simplex virus type 1. This virus is highly contagious and is present in almost everyone, often in a "dormant" state. Triggering factors for the outbreak/propagation of the virus and subsequently the development of a cold sore can be stress, colds, hormonal fluctuations, general weakness of the immune system and intensive UV exposure.

In addition to the classic external methods of treating fever blisters, scientific research has shown that there are also options for internal use that can both prevent the outbreak and accelerate the healing of an existing fever blister. Our capsules are a combination of L-lysine, zinc and various B vitamins, which are perfect as a dietary supplement or as a cure for increased susceptibility to cold sores.

Adults: Take 3 x 2 capsules daily with liquid.

Ingredients

• Ingredients: L-lysine HCl, PanMol®-B complex; bulking agent: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess!); zinc gluconate, capsule shell: cellulose; colouring agent in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide.
• Composition per daily dose (6 capsules) %NRV*: 0.4 mg vitamin B1 (36 % NRV*), 0.5 mg vitamin B2 (36 % NRV*), 5.76 mg vitamin B3 (36 % NRV*), 2.16 mg vitamin B5 (36 % NRV*), 0.5 mg vitamin B6 (36 % NRV*), 18 μg biotin (36 % NRV*), 72 μg folic acid (36 % NRV*), 0.9 μg vitamin B12 (36 % NRV*), 12 mg zinc (120 % NRV*) and 1500 mg L-lysine. *NRV = per cent of the recommended daily intake.
