Bios Ginseng Capsules are a dietary supplement with 90 mg ginseng root extract per capsule and are rich in ginsenosides.

Ginseng (Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer, synonym: Korean ginseng, "human root") is a perennial herbaceous plant from the ivy family and grows wild in the shady mountain forests of East Asia. The classic cultivation areas are northern China, Manchuria, Korea and Japan. The plant consists of a perennial underground stem, which is connected to the fleshy, carrot-shaped main root, which is around 15 - 20 cm long and approx. 2 cm thick. Ginseng roots are usually harvested between the 4th and 7th year after sowing.

A distinction is made between white and red ginseng depending on how it is processed after harvesting. In the latter case, the freshly harvested roots are treated with steam to preserve them and then dried. Despite these different processing methods, the roots hardly differ in their ingredients or their effects. The main ingredients of ginseng root are the ginsenosides, which belong to the saponins. It also contains fatty acids, enzymes, amino acid-like compounds, polyacetylenes, polysaccharides, vitamins A, B1, B2, C, a little essential oil, minerals and trace elements. Korea Ginseng Bios Capsules contain 90 mg dry extract of ginseng root (3 - 5:1) in a soft gelatine capsule. Raw material description The dry extract is obtained from ginseng roots of tested quality after extraction with alcohol with small amounts of maltodextrin and highly dispersed silicon dioxide in soft gelatine capsules.

Directions for use

• Adults and children over 12 years: 2 x 1 capsule with meals (morning and midday) with plenty of water.
• Advice: It is recommended not to take ginseng together with other stimulants such as drinks containing caffeine. Ginseng preparations should only be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

• Ingredients: Ginseng root extract (12 %); excipients: maltodextrin, highly dispersed silicon dioxide; bulking agents: coconut fat, soya oil, yellow wax; capsule shell: gelatine, glycerol, sorbitol solution, water; colouring agents in the capsule shell: sugar couleur E150d.
• Composition per daily dose (2 capsules): 180 mg ginseng root dry extract.
