Bios Folic Acid 900 mcg capsules are a dietary supplement that support the body’s cell division and blood formation, and help maintain normal homocysteine levels.
Folic acid (also known as vitamin B9) is an essential
vitamin. Foods particularly rich in folic acid
include wheat germ, spinach, cabbage varieties, broccoli and
baked goods made from wholemeal flour, as well as meat and liver.
Folic acid is involved in many of the body’s metabolic processes
and is essential for the growth and division
of cells, particularly for the formation of red
and white blood cells. When planning a
pregnancy, as well as during pregnancy, you should
bear folic acid in mind. If too little folic acid
is consumed, this can lead to weakness, tiredness and
irritability. Our capsules therefore
represent a useful supplement
in certain life situations.

Directions for use
Adults: Take 1 capsule once daily with liquid.
Ingredients
- Ingredients: Bulking agent: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess !); Anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids; folic acid. Capsule shell: gelatine; colouring agent in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide.
- Composition per daily dose (1 capsule): 900 μg folic acid (450 % NRV*). *NRV = Percentage of the recommended daily intake.
