Omega-3 fatty acids are long-chain, polyunsaturated fatty acids that are essential for human development and health. As they cannot be produced by the body, they are essential nutrients that must be taken in with food. Omega-3 fatty acids are initially found in algae, the food of fish. Sea fish such as mackerel, herring, wild salmon and tuna are enriched with these energy sources through this diet. The two most important omega-3 fatty acids are eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Food supplements with omega-3 fatty acids help to achieve the recommended intake levels. Bios EPA 400 mg capsules contain 1000 mg fish oil concentrate corresponding to 400 mg EPA and 200 mg DHA.

- Adults: Take 2 x 1 capsule daily with a meal and liquid.
- Advice: Not suitable for people with fish allergy.
