Bios Acetylcysteine 500 mg capsules are a dietary supplement containing 500 mg N-acetyl-L-cysteine per capsule.
Especially in the cold season, hardly anyone is spared: a runny nose and a scratchy throat. These symptoms are generally harmless, but extremely annoying. Acetylcysteine (ACC or NAC for short) breaks down mucopolysaccharides and thus liquefies viscous secretions. After ingestion, ACC is rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream via the intestine and is therefore available to the body after a short time. In smokers, ACC has a lung-protecting effect. Acetylcysteine is also a stable form of the amino acid cysteine, which is required for the formation of glutathione, among other things. This important substance is responsible for detoxification processes in the body.

- Ingredients: N-acetyl-L-cysteine; bulking agent: mannitol*; gelatine**; colours**: Titanium dioxide, iron oxides and iron hydroxides, Ponceau 4 R***, quinoline yellow***, patent blue V***. *May have a laxative effect if consumed in excess! **Capsule shell. ***May impair activity and attention in children!
