Effective wound care in the sacral area with Biatain® Silicone Sacrum. Sterile foam dressing for optimum exudate management and rapid healing. Ensures optimum wound healing and reduces pressure.
Biatain Silicone with 3DFit technology adapts to the wound bed and reduces the accumulation of exudate to create optimal healing conditions. Biatain Silicone can be used to treat a wide range of exuding wounds and is therefore an optimal solution for moist wound healing
Areas of application
Biatain® Silicone Sacrum:
- is indicated for a wide range of low to highly exuding wounds. These include acute wounds such as skin donor sites, post-operative wounds and traumatic wounds as well as chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure sores and non-infectious diabetic foot syndrome.
- can be used to prevent post-operative blistering.
Properties
- Biatain Silicone with 3DFit technology
- Adaptsto the wound bed: true conformability ensures close contact with the wound bed.
- Absorbs vertically: 77% higher fluid absorption capacity for longer wear1.
- Binds exudate: and 99.98% of bacteria.2
Advantages
- True conformability ensures close contact with the wound bed to reduce exudate accumulation and optimise healing conditions.
- Microcapillaries absorb exudate vertically and create optimal healing conditions with 77% higher fluid absorption capacity for longer wear time.
- Binds exudate and 99.98% of bacteria even under compression, reducing the accumulation of exudate and thus the risk of maceration and infection.
