Effective wound care in the sacral region with Biatain® Silicone Sacrum. A sterile foam dressing for optimal exudate management and rapid healing. Ensures optimal wound healing and reduces pressure.
Biatain Silicone with 3DFit technology conforms to the wound bed and reduces the build-up of exudate to create optimal conditions for healing. Biatain Silicone can be used to manage a wide range of exuding wounds and is therefore an ideal solution for moist wound healing.
Indications
Biatain® Silicone Sacrum:
- is indicated for a wide range of wounds with low to high levels of exudate. These include, amongst others, acute wounds such as skin graft sites, post-operative wounds and traumatic wounds, as well as chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and non-infectious diabetic foot syndrome.
- can be used to prevent post-operative blistering.
Features
- Biatain Silicone with 3DFit technology
- Adapts to the wound bed: Genuine adaptability ensures close contact with the wound bed.
- Absorbs vertically: 77% higher fluid absorption capacity for a longerwear time1.
- Binds exudate: and 99.98 per cent of bacteria.²
Benefits
- True adaptability ensures close contact with the wound bed to reduce the build-up of exudate and create optimal conditions for healing.
- Micro-capillaries absorb exudate vertically and create optimal healing conditions with a 77 per cent higher fluid absorption capacity for a longer wear time.
- Absorbs exudate and 99.98% of bacteria even under compression, thereby reducing the build-up of exudate and consequently the risk of maceration and infection.
