Bewelia® Plus micellar frankincense capsules are a unique dietary supplement with highly concentrated frankincense extract and vitamin K2 in a micellar formulation - for optimum bioavailability.
Bewelia PLUS in pure boswellia extract micelle formulation and micellar vitamin K2 has a more than 50-fold improved bioavailability compared to conventional preparations*. In particular, the AKBA contained is considered the most effective of all boswellic acids in frankincense resin and is often the subject of scientific research *tested in a preclinical study (Meins et al., 2018)

Unique micelle formulation for best results
Boswellic acids are fat-soluble and are only absorbed by the body in very small quantities. The effective boswellic acid AKBA in particular has an extremely low absorption rate. The special micelle formulation coats the fat-soluble frankincense ingredients in Bewelia PLUS. This enables a 50-fold improvement in bioavailability compared to conventional preparations.
Is frankincense and boswellia the same thing?
Frankincense has been valued by healers for centuries. The resin of the Indian variety Boswellia serrata in particular boasts a unique composition, including boswellic acids, essential oils and secondary pflanzenstoffe. Due to this diversity, frankincense is arousing the interest of modern research. The World Health Organisation (WHO) describes its use in the health sector, among other things. It is also used in pharmacology as a medicinal plant.

Application
- Take 1 capsule twice daily, preferably in the morning and evening, unchewed with sufficient liquid. Do not open the capsule.
- We recommend taking the capsules for at least 12 weeks when consuming for the first time.
Ingredients
- Ingredients: Emulsifier (polysorbate 20), gelatine (bovine*), humectant: glycerine; boswellia extract, sunflower oil, vitamin K2 oil. * Halal and Kosher certified.
- Composition per daily dose (2 capsules): Boswellic acids 120 mg *, vitamin K2 (menaquinone 7) 11.25 µg ** *no reference quantity available ** corresponds to 15% of the NRV (Nutritient Reference Values; reference quantity according to the EU Food Regulation).
