Skin irritations have one thing in common: a damaged protective skin barrier. This protective skin barrier prevents the penetration of harmful substances and retains moisture in the body. If it is damaged, this protective function is lost. As a result, water can escape from the skin and irritants can penetrate the damaged skin more easily - this can dry out the skin and cause itching.

Bepanthen® Sensiderm Cream repairs the damaged skin's protective barrier: thanks to the lipid lamella technology, lipids are supplied in a skin-like, lamella-like structure. This structure allows the lipids to fit perfectly into the damaged skin barrier and rebuild it.

Bepanthen® Sensiderm Cream is free from cortisone, fragrances and preservatives.

TIP: To strengthen the damaged skin's protective barrier in the long term and to moisturise the skin (24h), it is recommended to use Bepanthol SensiDaily Intensive Care as an additional daily body care product.

Active ingredients

Bepanthen® Sensiderm Cream contains a special lipid lamella technology that provides relief from skin irritation and itching, e.g. in cases of neurodermatitis, eczema or allergic reactions. This contains lipids with a lamellar structure, similar to that of the skin's own ceramides. The lamellar lipids are able to insert themselves into the damaged skin barrier and thus restore it.

Bepanthen® Sensiderm Cream also contains physiological moisturising factors such as glycerine to bind water in the skin, as is also the case with healthy skin. This effect is supported by dexpanthenol, which moisturises the skin's protective barrier and thus creates optimum conditions for the skin's natural regeneration process.

Bepanthen® Sensiderm Cream is cortisone-free and contains no fragrances or preservatives.
