Product information "BEBA® AR (anti-reflux) powder"
BEBA® AR (Anti-Reflux) powder is a dietary food for special medical purposes (balanced diet), containing hydrolysed whey protein for the dietary management of regurgitation and spitting up. For newborns (0–6 months).
After feeding, babies often regurgitate small amounts of milk. This is perfectly normal. However, some infants regurgitate larger amounts or more frequently than usual, or their regurgitation persists for a longer period. In such cases, you should speak to your paediatrician. For bottle-fed babies, your paediatrician may recommend a specialised formula such as BEBA Anti-Reflux. It is suitable from birth for exclusive feeding or, after 6 months, as part of a balanced weaning diet.

Directions for use
- Wash your hands thoroughly. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly, boil them and cover them until ready for use. Boil fresh drinking water* and allow it to cool to 40°C. *If using a steam steriliser, follow the instructions for use.
- Follow the dosage instructions. Pour water into the bottle, measure out the powder using the measuring spoon provided and add it. Do not use heaped measuring spoons.
- Seal the bottle and shake vigorously as instructed. Only after 5 seconds should you swirl it in your hands, then shake it vigorously up and down for a further 10 seconds.
- Make sure the spoon is dry and put it back in the packet. Seal the sachet and store in a dry place. Check the bottle’s contents are at drinking temperature (approx. 37°C).
- Please note: The thick consistency of BEBA Anti-Reflux may require a teat with a larger hole to allow the formula to flow through.
