Acidexa® 680 mg/80 mg chewable tablets are a non-prescription medicine with the active ingredients: Calcium carbonate/magnesium carbonate (heavy), for the treatment of heartburn and its associated symptoms.
Acidexa is a mint flavoured tablet to neutralise stomach acid in the body. Acidexa is used to treat heartburn and associated symptoms such as stomach discomfort and acid reflux. If you do not feel better or feel worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents (from 12 years of age): Suck or chew 1-2 tablets when heartburn and associated symptoms (listed in section 1)occur , preferably 1 hour after meals and before bedtime. Do not take more than 11 tablets daily.
- Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult a doctor. Prolonged use of the medicine should be avoided.
- Use in children and adolescents: This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
Ingredients
- What Acidexa contains: The active ingredients are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate (heavy). One chewable tablet contains 680 mg calcium carbonate and 80 mg magnesium carbonate (heavy).
- The other ingredients are: Highly dispersed silica; starch, pregelatinised; copovidone; xylitol (E 967); hydroxypropyl cellulose (low substituted) LH-11; spray-dried peppermint flavouring (from flavouring extract(s); natural flavourings (pulegone, menthofuran); maltodextrin and Arabic gum (E 414)); spray-dried menthol L flavouring (from flavouring extract(s) and Arabic gum (E 414)); talc and magnesium stearate.
