- The basis for extracting the oil is the flesh of the avocado, also known as the "fatty fruit". The composition of avocado oil is very similar to the lipids in the skin. In addition to vitamins A, B, D, E, biotin and K, it also contains lecithin. Biotin contributes to healthy skin and hair and promotes the energy metabolism of the cells.
